Ian Leaf Tax

With tax time already upon us, the IRS has repeatedly warned of the possibility of fraudsters taking advantage of those who delay filing their taxes until the last minute. While the IRS has informed citizens that victims of fraud will not be penalized for the behavior of fraudsters, it is still the case that it is best to avoid this frustrating circumstance if at all possible.

According to Ian Leaf, the best strategy is to simply file with the IRS as early as possible. Fraudsters are simply able to generate more on their tax scams if they file fraudulent tax forms before the individual they target, which means that late filers will be much more likely to experience the difficulties associated with trying to rectify the issue with a federal agency.
